Welcome to Lansing
Michigan’s capital region offers a one-of-a-kind setting for a visit to remember! Explore endless and diverse dining options, browse unique boutiques and galleries and discover the typical Midwest flavor that makes up the region. Celebrate culture and the arts in world-class performance venues or catch the Spartan Spirit with a visit to the campus of Michigan State University.
Whether it's enjoying a microbrew in a historic building or bringing out your inner foodie as you pair made-from-scratch foods with freshly crafted beers, Lansing has the brewery for you. Be sure to check out Soup Spoon Café. Soup Spoon has gone from a greasy spoon breakfast joint to one of the premier dining establishments in town. Their menu features dishes for all appetites and budgets, and they serve only Michigan beer on tap.
Any time off the ice can also be spent with a visit to the beautifully restored State Capital Building or the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum since Lansing is the birthplace of Oldsmobile. If you’re looking for something more on the active side, check out High Caliber Karting and try the indoor tracks, state-of-the-art racing simulators or give axe throwing a go. There’s something for everyone in Lansing.
The beautiful Summit Ice and Sports Center plays host for our Great Lakes Capital Classic and features two awesome sheets of ice, both an Olympic and NHL size. On the ice no doubt you’ll be matched against great competition. Teams and players from all over the state as well as Illinois, Indiana and Ohio will want to jump in. So gather the boys and we’ll see you in Lansing.
