Off the ice there is plenty to occupy your time. The Mystique Casino is within minutes of the rink for anyone looking to try their luck. The area has several beautiful golf courses, wineries and waterparks to choose. There are river tours of the Mississippi, zip lines over Union Park and an abundance of nightlife in the area pubs, sports bars and music venues. Great times for all await you in Dubuque.

Don’t think there’s much hockey here in the heartland; well think again, in this part of the country junior hockey reigns supreme. Iowa itself is boasts five USHL teams and our host rink, the Mystique Ice Center is home ice for the Dubuque Fighting Saints. Sure to follow, there’s a thriving adult hockey community here as well not only in Dubuque but surrounding cities and across the state. Located on the border with Illinois and Wisconsin and just south of Minnesota; it’s easy to see that there will be plenty of competition at every level for you and your teammates.
